Hi The drums and boxes are sold off to scrap guys in bulk lots. The auction process is more or less "how much for 10 tons of scrap". I'm sure that you can get on the bidder list if you can handle that sort of quantity of scrap. Best guess is that it goes for under a dollar a pound. Of course 20,000 pounds at a buck a pound is still a lot of money…
