What I was wondering if someone sells an antenna that you just "stick on"..
Say you want a functional equivalent of the GPS18, but perhaps with a
bit lower integration: you're wiring it up to a microcontroller.
A $40 GPS plus $10 of antenna and cable plus time dealing with two
suppliers, plus modifying the cable, to package it into a nice small
unit. You've spent several hours by then, and if your time is worth
very much, you might as well buy the Garmin for $80.
