Well, there is a measurable advantage with slotted TDMA over the random access scheme used now. whether there is enough accuracy in processing the very low bandwidth of the RDA payload is questionable plus you do need to recover the subcarrier from the FM payload.

Maybe a higher power GPS signal would be a better future?
