Anyone who is (a) a big enough target to attract crackers skilled enough
to analyze their network and find weak points like time servers and (b)
dependent on accurate time for security purposes should be advised that
pool.ntp.org is not guaranteed to be acurrate.

It'd take approximately no effort for said crackers to add their servers
to the pool, and configure them to give accurate time to everyone (that
includes the monitoring servers) but you.

[And, I'm pretty damn sure spammers are a much, much bigger problem.]
