Very expensive. Oh and it does /not/ provide NTP, just SNTP.
Interesting. The first sentence describes the Cuckoo as, "an SNTP
time server, designed to give accurate and precise times to every
machine on your network" (which is a bit of an oxymoron, really, but
no matter yet). However, in the features list it, "Provides NTP,
TIME, and DAYTIME network time protocols".
Out of curiousity, is your statement regarding support (or otherwise)
of NTP based on your interpretation of the information provided on
the Cuckoo pages, or from a specific follow-up enquiry?
Thanks,
Chris
Chris,
Just on the basis of the description: "SNTP server".
Perhaps they could put one of these devices on the Internet to show just
how good it is, and allow people to test NTP commands against it?
Cheers,
David
