Up until the end of March this year, the highest speeds available to the general consumer were 2048/256kbit, with only the upstream speed being rate adaptive. This has now been increased to a maximum of 8192/832kbit, with both upstream and downstream being rate adaptive. The vast majority of consumers will only see a 488kbit upstream speed though, as 832kbit is available only on the more expensive tariffs. The transition to these higher speeds is still ongoing, so the vast majority of pool members in the UK (like myself) remain on a 256kbit upstream. --Adam _______________________________________________ timekeepers mailing list [email protected] https://fortytwo.ch/mailman/cgi-bin/listinfo/timekeepers
