I wasn't intending to suggest that the information would be available for anyone
to browse. I was thinking more along the lines of having to enter the IP address
of a particular ntp server, and then www.pool.ntp.org would provide
corresponding contact details.
Mind you, someone else suggested a simple contact page and this could be rolled
up into one:
: Server IP address [nn.nn.nn.nn]
: Your email address for reply [EMAIL PROTECTED]
: Your message [blah blah blah]
: Captcha confirmation [yuck]
The message subject of the email sent to the server operator could be fixed,
e.g. "Enquiry regarding NTP Pool server nn.nn.nn.nn", and with captcha-style
technology maybe a copy could also be sent to the originator so they've got a
record of the issue.
Personally I'd rather someone was able to email me directly. I have a wild
loathing of these contact forms as I suspect that on many sites they simply send
the messages to a bit-bucket instead of real people.
