When using the usual ntpd timeserver, it is possible to add variables
that can be viewed with ntpq.
Example (put this in /etc/ntp.conf):
setvar access_policy="do not poll more than once per 15 seconds" default
setvar admin_contact="[EMAIL PROTECTED]" default
Now when you do "ntpq -c rv servername" you get those variables printed.
