I don't see a problem here. Tiny understood the need for speed improvements, but as their development work is driven by their paying customer demand, it is a matter of financing additional development hours to increase the priority of speed improvements. TinyERP is a very flexible workflow system, but don't forget that it's primary focus is improving efficiency of a for-profit enterprise. While Tiny enjoys seeing us users find great uses for TinyERP, they also enjoy getting paid and putting food on the table. I have already paid 100 to this, and I did so happily. So, when the 1000 has been collected, and the improvements are freely available to all, you can thank me and the others who have contributed. In the mean time, you are free to develop your own protocol to improve the speed. In fact, if you did that, you could likely submit patches and they very well might be integrated and released as part of the free package. Or, you could submit them to TinyForge, and other users could patch the source tree if they wish. Keep up the good work, Fabien and team! ------------------------ --phil _______________________________________________ Tinyerp-users mailing list http://tiny.be/mailman/listinfo/tinyerp-users
