One thing that would greatly expand the appeal of TinyERP is iADOdb, a database abstraction layer. Rather than coding directly to one database, coding to a database abstraction layer would allow for the use of many different databases with TinyERP. This would enable TinyERP to integrate more readily in differing company environments where strategic decisions have already been made as to the supported enterprise database. Many companies have already made substantial investments in their current architecture and for them, having TinyERP able to integrate and run within their existing architecture would certainly enhance TinyERP's appeal.
ADOdb is a well known database abstraction layer. This link provides details for both php and python versions: http://adodb.sourceforge.net/ Gerry _______________________________________________ Tinyerp-users mailing list http://tiny.be/mailman/listinfo/tinyerp-users
