Actually this module neither do e-mail invoices nor directly create them. This
module fills gap between manual invoice creation in accounting modules and
helps defining strong business logic on invoicing various company's activities.
As well eliminates routine manual invoice creation when amounts of consumed
products or services change or company needs invoicing on some other TERP
objects.

Without this kind of module it is impossible to invoice customer for e.g. 3
euros, because it is common that even in east european contries manual invoice
(just to create this invoice) creation would cost far more than these 3 euros.
Which would render this financially impractical.

For example:
* outsourced accounting services may want to invoice customer on amount of
financial documents processed in behalf of the client.

* telecom company invoice customers on total count of phone calls as well as
total duration of calls on a various rates.

* service companies invoice on projects respective on various agreement types
or categories of customers.

* invoicing respective to the total turnover for each customer.

* utilities may want to invoice customers on fixed meter readings.

* the simplest way to invoice on agreed sum of money (the only one which may be
accomplished)

These cases (except the third one) could not be handled by "subscription"
module. Often there is a need for description in the invoice line, for example,
the period for which the customer is being charged. So in these cases, comes
"Invoicing" module.

P.S. I have received quite a number of requests regarding this module which
proves that we have done reasonable job. So I will keep informing you on our
progress in first implementations.

Best regards,
sraps
