I can't agree with this. Everything that Tiny does is always open source, and we try to create incentives so that others do the same. We have around 70 full time developers, they all work directly on the public launchpad. I don't know any other company that do what Tiny does ! We also often refuse to work for customers that ask non open source modules. We have 3 exceptions (2 shared fundings and one migration script). These exceptions exists because we can't finance this R&d with the classic open source approach (the customer who ask pays). But we give the garantee that these modules will be available in a few months. This exception is less than 0.1% of what we deliver for free ! So, please don't compare or criticise what Tiny does. I know Geoff (who asked the question about open source). I think he didn't wanted to criticise your work ! It was just a question, to know if he can investigate. My point of view is that we help people that publish their modules for free but we also accept to work with companies that does non open source modules. (we just don't promote or help in maintenance or developed) Both are good, I don't think you need to justify your position. It's always good to develop and do busines on Open ERP.
