Hi,

We also evaluating OpneERP ( if it is a good software we will order a support )
to implement in our Company - Out IT support company was mention it ( probably
they may become partner or not ).
They installed a few demo DB for us to test.

What we found after spending about 2 month ( since release of V5 ) with help of
our IT company to setup and tune.

Documentation not full and not correct in many places, thunderbird plugin
actually not working - only show partners but not saving any emails ( but
message says it is saved )
webmail ajax not working.
no sync for calendar in outlook or gogle cal - ( very important! ) and you
can't have more that 1 person for calendar entry like meeting.
project management quite useless
can't invoice on time spent - always produce an empty invoice, so need to to
double work to create an invoice from task ( project )
Not easy to import data from existing system - so we can compare with existing
system - to see the performance and if is working properly. ( the demo data
just way too small )
csv export works, but when trying to import the same entry back - not working -
need to do a lot of modification to csv file ( column names ), and we not
succed with importing invoices at all.

No support for different printers - like to send orders to warehouse printer,
invoices - to accountant printer , etc. That is the standard feature available
in most even the very cheap software. ( even not to mention ERP like SAP ( we
do some work in SAP for our copartner )
for other copartner we use sql-ledger.

The default server installation has very little number of currencies.

Browsing through forum and mailing list - most of the question - without
answers.
Most of Floss project mush more responsive ( we got support for drbd from ) but
for example look at mail list - most of the question got answers very quickly.
Not here :(

We like the idea of Floss and support it. Hope the situation will improve here.
Meantime we probably will ask out IT to find something more suitable for us. (
more stable and easier to use )
