We developed such a module and it will be published in a few weeks:
management of courses, planning of classes, teachers, students,
invoicing of courses, automatic corrections of exams (through scans of
papers/answers), automatic orders to suppliers, catalog of courses
management, sessions and seances, group of students, subscription to
courses, etc.
Moodle has been in widespread use, and has a whole lot of courses avalaible
across the globe. It also has a robust security, administrating various types
of quizzes, tests etc., and a whole system of tracking grades, submissions,
apapers, discussions, etc. A functionality which has evolved over several years
of Open Source developement. It might be advisable to have lnks to Moodle,
rather than duplicationg its functionality. Esp because it has such a large
user base and courses content.
Just my two cents.[/quote]
