Just for note... If there is so great need for module to be certified, then even chart of accounts needs to be input manually.
If one would read the certification idea, it would become clear that there are no actual quality assurance as there are no real functional checks (and could not be) performed. Only few checks if code conforms to the coding guidelines. By the way many of the Tiny's modules do not conform or other like esale for Virtuemart throws syntax errors (!!!) out of the box, so think of the certification quality if the certifier do not hold on to their own guidelines. If module are not developed by Tiny, one anyway will have to request the porting for the next version, if the module will not be ported on a regular basis, by the original developer. This is clear, the certification is marketing trick for the uninformed people, to fool that one black box with quality sticker attached is better than the other black box without one. Don't you think that you are: 1) crippling the market, fair trade and GPL spirit. 2) holding back potential customers from using OpenERP, by creating some spoofed problems. By that slowing down the spread of the system. 3) creating bad image for the system and product and community as such. So people who contribute to your system, or help spreading it by word of the mouth, have to pay for that? Or do they have to force their customers to pay for that? How can you be so sure that the on OSS principles continuously developed module, over which you do not have any control (imagine one wants you to certify module not developed by Tiny), be 100% portable to the next version, keeping in mind, that Tiny do not reveal any long term future plans neither for API, nor architecture? Remember how the 5th version were built... Please be honest, stop fooling people... Better think for providing more reasonable services, than this... P.S. I am not sure, who is responsible for all of these "brilliant inventions", is that Fabien or other - some bad marketing people?
