Dear all, thanks for the feedback from the community. Of cause I do not want to get a buggy final version. What I was searching for was acutal infomation about the status quo. If thinks proceed slower than expected that's ok (for some time). But the community/users need to be informed about what's going on!
Fabien Pickaer's Blog (and I think he belongs to Tiny!?) has only one entrysince March, 5th - and this is about a competitors company. Up to march he posted frequently about the development of OpenERP. What happened? And seeing the buglist tells me (as a non-coder) almost nothing - I do not know how many bugs are common short before finalizing a version and I have no idea, which of the listed points need to be solved before changing the version status to "beta". I have also found no way to download a nightly build server version to get an impression of what I read. In (all) other OSS projects I know this is self confident. But perhaps I simply don't find it although it's there?
