I had some rather silly and elementary questions on how the radio on the MICA2s work or for that matter how any radio works
1. First of all, does the transmission power have anyting to do with the frequency of the radio wave selected. I suppose it does... right.. by Plancks law or am i wong here?
2. Secondly, what determines whether a radio receiver will receive a particular packet? In the sense is it that, one can define something called a "receive power", the radio will accept the packet only if the power of the received packet is above some threshold. How does one calculate the received power. (I am asking this from a hardware point of view)
Any help would be appreciated.
