Steve and Philip,

Thanks for the replies.
One more question. Is there any pointer towards the amount of current drawn
by the MCU(Atmega128L) for the different sleep modes available:

Idle
ADC Noise Reduction
Power-Down
Power-Save
Standby
Extended Standby

I need to calculate the energy consumption for finding the life of the
battery in the mote that runs my application.

Regards
Mayur

The exact sleep calculation is chip-dependent, so currently there are
three: atm128, msp430, and pxa27x. Section 5 of TEP 112 tells you
where to find them:

5. Implementation
====================================================================

An implementation of McuSleepC can be found in ``tinyos-2.x/tos/chips/
atm128``,
``tinyos-2.x/tos/chips/msp430``, and ``tinyos-2.x/tos/chips/px27ax``.
