Dear Mike and Razvan and the rest of the members of TinyOs list, I had put a mail some days ago requesting about explanation of Deluge working. I got reply from Ryan but he said that you guys would be able to explain it in a much better way, so please help me out. Here is precisely what I want to ask.
I have been going through the code of DelugeM and one thing I did not get was the sendAdvMsg. What exactly is this advertizing message and when precisely is this send by one mote to another. I mean when do we ( the user) knows that an Adv msg has been send by one mote to another. What is the purpose of this message in Over-air-programming. Based on this technique, can I do some modification in the DelugeM component so that as they send the Adv Msgs across the network, they also send the timesync messages so that periodically, all the nodes get synced with each other. Please guide me on this as it is very important for me....
