Thank you for all mails Janos.
Yes I know that they are compatible, from Xbow mails... Finally I was told
where the problem is. I just received mail from Meshnetics. They said that I
have discovered a bug in their bootloader.exe tool. It cannot set the
channel of the zigbit module to be 26, as the default one in tinyos. the
value I passed was too big for its command line parser.
I still have to find out how to program the mote with proper channel mask
set...to be able to communicate with existing tmote installaton.

Hristo,
I still don't get what the problem is. If both the tmotes and the
zigbits are running TinyOS 2.x, then you can set them to whatever
channel you want. Just make sure that they're on the same channel, and
they will communicate.
The rf230 radio stack and the cc2420 stack are compatible, I have
verified it with iris and micaz motes. I have not checked iris-tmote
compatibility, though, but, since it's the same code, I strongly believe
that they are also compatible.

Hi Janos,
I am trying to find way to send packets between tmotes and zigbits. I
have
application written in tinyos which I compile for tmote or for zigbit. I
have used xbow supplied modules for iris, which I altered little to have
same pins. All looks ok, but no radio communication is done...
For me the problem is with radio channel. Meshnetics support didn't
helped
me how to program the channel to be 26, as the default one in tinyos.
Hristo
