Glad you said it.  I second it.  I can't find any convincing evidence
that mass-media violence induces _real-life_ aggression in people who
would not otherwise have become aggressive.  The last review I read of
the topic (available at
http://psych-server.iastate.edu/faculty/caa/abstracts/2000-2004/01AB.html),
though deeply confident in its own conclusions, was laden with
rhetoric that bordered on the extrascientific.
