Like Jean, I wanted to stay out of this one. I think this last message
calling Michael in a round-about way a racist, anti-semite, is such an ad
hominem attack. Are the PC, "speak only as I say," police at work here or
is it thin skin? Personally, I don't see the crime in his question. As
President of my synagogue (living proof that having a Ph.D. doesn't mean
you're smart), I often am the target of comments from congregants who are
not comfortable with Christians attending our services. Personally, and I
hope I don't become a target, with the too often presence among American
Jews of the ghetto mentality or the fear, as the saying goes, if you
scratch a goy (non-Christian) you'll find a pogromist, it's a intersting
question.
