But you won't produce the person who admits to the kinds of beliefs you

To be honest, I wrote a longer response to this, but decided that it was
borderline nasty, at least if one considered your latest post individually (that is,
if one ignored the fact that this is an ongoing thing over quite a span of time). I'm
going to stick with a shorter one here to try to emphasize the simple point: your post
came across as a lecture, with the underlying implication that the members of this
list NEED to be lectured about the fact that a letter grade does not tell us
everything that we need to know about a student. That implication is insulting, and it
is false (don't agree? Then you should simply produce a member of this list who admits
to believing that a letter grade is all the information about a student that we need).
This is really very straightforward, and it's not an "errant style", but
rather your consistent style, as has been explained patiently (and sometimes not so
patiently) to you quite a few times in the past by any number of people. I suggest
that you drop your refusal to "reflect seriously on the message".
