Hello all,

I have a senior who is working on her Honor's Thesis and is intersted in
the idea of fear and comfort foods. She wants to analyze whether
comfort foods reduce fear in rats. We know that humans use comfort
foods (chips, cookies, ice cream, etc.) to alleviate stress and she
wanted to see whether that same concept applies to nonhuman animals.
Does anyone know of any research that has been done in this area, either
with human or nonhuman animals?

Thank you in advance,
Nina
