Another question that has not been raised on the list is why such a big deal is made about the flash of the female anatomy and nothing has been said about the expression of hostility and the violation of personal space associated with a man ripping clothing off a woman. I should note that this objection was raised by 2 of the 3 men at my lunch table today, one of whom noted that the only person in his class who brought up this point was a male student.
Shouldn't we be discussing the way that popular culture depicts acceptable relationships between men and women?
