Maybe I'm just old-fashioned, but I still think that "hormone-induced
sexual excitement" deserves some consideration when we're trying to explain
teen sexual activity. Is there research eliminating that as a major
contributing factor?

(Removing tongue from cheek) It seems to me that the to-be-explained
phenomenon is why teens refrain from sexual activity, not why they
participate in it.
