I believe it is an honor because a student must nominate a person who receives that designation of “Who’s Who.”

TIPSTERS,

We have an applicant who cites her inclusion in "Who's Who AMong America's Teachers" under "Academic Honors and Awards" section of her VITA.  Is it really an honor?  Is it selective at all?  I was always under the impression that getting on the directory was as easy as saying you want to be on the list.
