The answer key is:

1A “cluss” in both stem and correct alternative

2B the correct answer is often the longest or the one with the most explanation

3C this is the only choice that isn’t stated as an absolute

4D “ignu” is the only alternative that could follow “an”.

5A the stem mentions “reasons” and the correct choice is the only one with more than one reason.

6B “vost” must be correct because it is in every choice.

7C This one is alluded to in question 4

8D Look at the pattern of the answers.

OK, I think I got them all (although I'm still thinking about number 8). Do we get an answer key?
While this doesn't hit all the test-wise skills, it certainly is a clever way to introduce the topic--and might even have a place in whatever design this group comes up with.
