ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF PSYCHOLOGY: The Department of Psychology at Heidelberg College seeks an enthusiastic, student-centered teacher/scholar, beginning August, 2004. The position will be based on our Tiffin campus but will include teaching responsibilities at our Toledo area campus, geared to adult learners. Specialty area is open, but our greatest need is in Child Psychology. The position will initially entail a 1-year, non-tenure-track appointment, renewable annually.  Conversion to a tenure-track appointment is a possibility. Ph.D. preferred, ABD considered. Teaching responsibilities include Child Psychology, Adolescent Psychology, Social Psychology, Personality, and General Psychology, but may change to suit the interests of the candidate and the department. An active program of research, which can incorporate undergraduate students, is expected. Heidelberg College, founded in 1850, located in Northwest Ohio, is a private liberal arts college with an enrollment of approximately 1,500 in its undergraduate, graduate, off-campus, and international programs.
