Some time ago, we discussed how much thought goes into the selection of textbook covers (and whether the authors have any say). I thought some of you might be interested in seeing this email I received today on that subject.
They invited me to send it to my students, so that's the URL I've pasted in below (wouldn't want to compromise their random sampling of professors with a snowball sample! Of course, their student sample might now be off a little bit if any of you actually submit it...) Curiously, though, the only difference I noticed between the faculty and the student surveys was the URL.
