applications for a tenure track position (rank open) to begin September
2005. Located midway between Los Angeles and Palm Springs, the
University of Redlands, which enrolls approximately 2200 undergraduates
in the College of Arts & Sciences, is a private, liberal arts university
offering a variety of interdisciplinary programs and majors. We seek to
hire an individual with training and teaching experience in counseling
psychology with an emphasis in child/adolescence and/or geriatrics.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate is expected to teach
six courses during the academic year, including Abnormal Psychology,
Counseling, Developmental Psychology, courses in his or her area of
specialization, and other courses to be determined in collaboration with
the department chair.  In addition, she or he will be expected to engage
in scholarly activity, and share responsibility with other department
members for advising students, supervising student research, and other
forms of university service.  A Ph.D. by September 2005 is preferred,
though exceptional ABD candidates also will be considered.  Strong
preference will be given to candidates with a commitment to excellence
in teaching and an active research program that involves undergraduate
