Carol,
Now that I do all of my testing online, I don't have to go over the tests. After all of the students have taken the test, I make the answers to all of the questions, including the short answer/essay questions made available on the computer. If they have questions about something or want to try to argue their case about an answer they gave that didn't get credit, they must email me with their rationale and I consider their appeal. I works fine and I have a lot more class time - the period in which they would have taken the test, and the 20 minutes or so of the next class to go over the test.

Sorry for the cross-posting, I meant to post this only to TIPS but wasn't paying attention when I put in the address.
Hi TIPSpeople,
How many of you take class time to go over exams after they are corrected? Whether you do or don't, what is your rationale?
Thanks, I appreciate your responses.
