"Any data set may be badgered into submission."

I thought Paul Meal said that, but he denied it, although he told me that he
wished that he had.

Subject: Quotes and readings

Tipsters,

Our English Department is developing a new honors composition course. I
was asked if I know of any great quotes from psychology that would cause an
undergraduate student "to take pause and ponder." The quotes would be used
as topics of debates and subsequent reaction papers.

Do you have a favorite psychological quote? Any area in psychology is fair
game.

I was also asked if I could develop a list of short readings, (articles no
longer than 5 to 10 pages), which contain "enduring questions about human
behavior or mental processing.'

Any favorites? Again, any area in psychology is fair game.

I know Tipsters represent many areas of psychology and would appreciate any
help you can lend me.

If you wish you may email me personally.

Thanks,

Greg Bohmier
