Kalamazoo College seeks a cognitive psychologist or cognitive neuroscientist for a tenure-track appointment. Candidates should have interest in undergraduate teaching, commitment to the liberal arts, and desire to involve undergraduates in research. Teaching is two undergraduate courses (10 to 35 students) in each of three 11-week quarters. Research opportunities include college support, assistance in obtaining grant funding, and possible collaboration with faculty doing cognitive/neuroscience-related work in psychology, physics, and biology.

Kalamazoo College is a highly-selective, nationally-known liberal arts college. All psychology faculty are publishing, and the department ranks in the top 20 among 1500 colleges and universities in the proportion of graduates going on to earn Ph.D.s. Other departments in the top 20 include Biology, Physics, and Mathematics. The College emphasizes international education: 85% of students study abroad, and travel opportunities are available to faculty.
