At St. John's we have our classes' rosters (and a lot of other stuff) on-line. When we wish to consult a roster we have an option to view it with each student's ID picture. I find this feature to be a most wonderful resource, particularly with large classes where it becomes more difficult to learn all the names and faces. The only minor drawback of the current system is that I don't think that the pictures are ever updated. Given that some students can undergo significant changes from semester to semester, sometimes they are not easily recognizable with an earlier picture. Miguel
