Claudia (and others)- My experience on search committees matches yours for the most part. Current policy at our institution is that we will not grant a contract unless the candidate provides a complete graduate transcript for any degree listed in the job description and/or their application. (If that makes any sense). :) Current restrictions on information release makes it problematic to call institutions and ask- at least that's how we deal with it. Tim
