Ummm. I do it in my head because it is easier than using the paper (standard 
method). I just don't imagine at all that what you say isn't true for most 
people. I think you are correct that most, given paper and pencil, would do it 
that way. I wouldn't. :) Tim

True enough... unless you're just a little odd, like me, and sometimes 
do it in your head for the sheer entertainment value... and to (somewhat 
defensively) prove to yourself that your mental powers havent slipped 
too far yet. :-)
