I wouldn't know. In graduate school, there was a disdain from the faculty toward psy.d. programs not just because of the lack of research emphasis, but due to many of these programs accepting a high volume of students. So there was concern for both the scientist and practitioner training. > Graduates of these programs might be even more prone to whine, "Just let > us do what we do best," when challenged by data. I wouldn't know, I didn't graduate from one of those programs. Hopefully they make the best use of their clinical acumen and the best data available. And hopefully they take insults from non-therapists with good humor.
