Bill- It is indeed sad. I suppose one can understand the paranoia and most 
schools I have contact with make the response immediate and mandatory if they 
perceive certain boundaries are crossed. But what kind of a system doesn't 
build your history and the context into their response? Sigh. I hope that is at 
least their second response. I agree with the others that wiser heads will win 
out - I know this is a bad time for you. Hang in there! We are thinking about 
you. As others have said, let Bill or the rest of us know if they need any 
description of this list as community and its sometimes irreverent tone. :) I 
just can't believe anyone on TIPS took your post as more than sarcasm toward an 
obviously stupid idea. Take care.
