I am a doctoral student at Walden University Online, and our dissertation defenses take place via conference calls between student and faculty committee.? The recordings of conference calls are available online for one week for the students to listen to. ? I do listen to a great number of them to help me prepare for my defense when that time comes

Our defenses were technically open to the public, but rarely did people come without invitation. I think there were three (maybe four) people in the "audience", and only one did I not invite personally, and I believe he was there to see what he'd be in for in another year or so.
