If you do a Google search of "freud phobia ferns" you get 14,700. Many of the first few make the same claim (one even names it pteridophobia). I had never heard it before, but it may well be true. Interpretation of Dreams has three references to ferns, but they are all related to Delboeuf (projection?). :-) Chris -- Christopher D.
