Folks,
We should all be above this sort of pretentiousness and name dropping
(again). It is hard to avoid knowing what you do and who else you feel you
are on par with from your previous posts. What your field is and who else is
in it is slightly irrelevent to the main points being discussed. Such
attempts to intimidate and intellectually bully are oppressive to the spirit
of inquiry originally embodied by this list. The issue doesn't require a
degree, a publication, nor fancy names to discuss. (AND, just because APA
has a division addressing your pet area, doesn't make it any more or less
legitimate; It just makes it more PC.)
It would be much more productive to address the actual issue.
