Well, a lot of students aren't like us as we were or remember selectively
as we were. Are to penalize them for that omission or are we to help them
become the persons they are capable of becoming even if we have to leave
the comfort of what we are doing, adapt and change, and even if it takes a
tad more time and effort? Are we to bellyache about the imperfections of
this academic world or are we to deal with them? Having graduated college
with less than a 2.2 (low C), having to work three jobs, being stupid
enough to play sports, and just as soon as crack a keg than a book,
I can assure that there is always hope, and it is always to early to give
up hope. I think the good teacher, like the good gardner, sees the spring
in the chill of winter.

Make it a good day.
