TIPSTERS,

While searching for statistics on sleep in the U.S. I found this media alert and thought this might be useful to many of you.

"48 Hours" to Feature Sleep this Thursday!
Thursday night, April 19th, at 10 pm. ET, the CBS program 48 Hours will focus on sleep in "Sleep Tight". The episode explores the price of and remedies for sleep deprivation, as well as some unusual sleep disorders. Researchers say not sleeping for 24 hours may impair a driver just as much as being drunk. How should drivers who fall asleep and kill someone be punished? There's a report on sleep eating, a type of sleepwalking, and on new research into children's sleep problems, specifically, the link between snoring and attention deficit disorder.
