This is not my area of expertise but I think that we have to be careful when discussing who is gay. Are their criteria for determining that someone is gay? Do you have to practice the gay lifestyle for a minimum number of years to be "gay"? The reason that I raise these questions is because in my youth, I dated and lived with four women (one at a time) who were in their 20s or 30s. All of them had had a few affairs with other women in their teens and early 20s but were now heterosexual, not bisexual. Since then, all of them have gotten married and had kids. Now were these women really gay, or were they just experimenting with sexual orientation for several years?
So when we talk about gays going straight, I believe that someone should first define for us just what criteria was used to decide that these people were really gay to begin with.
