I love my email filter, because it can keep my email in-box from being stuffed
with emails from Dip-loma Mills, and such. The overloading of my email in-box
with such flotsam increases the noise in the in-box meaning I have an increased
chance of missing signal emails that I need to read. Indeed, one might learn
that a specific Mill is sending a steady string of materials that you often
find annoying, ill-informed, or just plain wrong.

Wouldn't it be nice if you could filter specific emails, either by sender,
subject line, or an entire mailing list's production, to a specific folder that
you can examine over lunch or other designated time?

Of course, you can, just like I do! Heck you can even send email directly to
the cyber-trash based on the same system.

Every email program has a 'filter' list or 'rules' list or similar. Just search
your email program's help listings or ask your provider's help folks about how
to set it up. It is very effective, and usually easy to set up. I often don't
even know about some TIPS posts unless and until someone responds to the post.

Enjoy!
