*Visiting Assistant Professor* The Department of Psychology at St. Ambrose University invites applicants for a three-year visiting assistant professor, to begin August 2011. We are particularly interested in candidates who have pre- or post-doctorate training in developmental psychopathology, or have experience working with children, adolescents, and families involved in the legal system. Responsibilities include: teaching undergraduate courses, student advising, directing student research projects, and service to the department. Required qualifications include: 1) Ph.D.or Psy.D. in relevant area of psychology (ABD with appropriate expertise will be considered), 2) ability to teach some of the following courses: child development, child and adolescent psychopathology, forensic psychology courses (e.g., psychology & law, juvenile justice & psychology) 3) ability to supervise undergraduate research. Review of applications will begin March 15, 2011 and continue until the position is filled.
