On a slightly more serious note -- Psychology may at this point in its
evolution be too diverse a field to have a single predominant figure.
I wouldn't be be surprised if in another generation or two we've speciated
into a number of separate fields that can't (or won't) interbreed with each
other.
It may evolve into separate fields or a limited number of fields.But most
important the subject study of the evolving hields could be dictated by
issues that are relevant to peoples lives today instead of paradigms that
are no longer relevant such as conditioning principles ,the Thematic
Apperception figures,and intelligence.
