I think that the phrase "psychology of color" is a vague and will mean
very different things to different groups of people.  People concerned
with color vision will interpret it one way while people interested in
design, architecture, and environmental effects on people (e.g., do
people work better with certain colored walls).  A quick search of
PsycInfo for the phrase "psychology of Color" turns up only 20 hits
and I list them below:
