Hello, all.... I have a Hughes HDVR2 (DirecTV), and it's acting funny, in a way that makes me suspect that it's about to die from a catastrophic HD failure. (Just speculation.)
What's happening is this: It just freezes up. Both in Live and during playback of recorded programs. If you try to skip ahead, it just sits there, and then comes back in, usually with some bizarre pixelation. There doesn't appear to be any loss of programming, it just sticks. No problems with weather or satellite strength. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this, any potential fixes, or suggestions? Tried rebooting and all the basic stuff, but to no avail.
